Occupational Therapist Home Visit
Your Occupational Therapist will recommend adaptive equipment to make life easier and safer in the bathroom and moving around at home. In this case, Occupational Therapist Laura Choiniere visits Marcia at home after a hip replacement due to a fall. Marcia has a standing balance problem. Now that she’s back from rehab, her recovery would benefit from Laura’s recommendations.
Laura recommends strategies and equipment to simplify her daily activities and help keep her be safe at home. Focusing on bathroom safety (getting in and out of the shower, and on and off the toilet) and mobility (getting around from room to room).
